Who has access to my case files?

There are 3 roles with the following rights:

  1. Advising the institution (role 1)
    1. may completely view, edit and delete all case files in their own institution
    2. is allowed to create anonymous statistics for its own institution
  2. Administration of the facility (role 2)
    1. no access to case files
    2. is allowed to create anonymous statistics for its own institution
    3. may create, change and delete advisory access (role 1) for their own institution
  3. Coordination office (role 3)
    1. no access to case files

Alle Rollen einer spezifischen Länderinstanz von INTERVENT sind Teil eines gemeinsamen Workspace und unterscheiden sich durch ihren Berechtigungen.

Who assigns the role rights?

Role rights can only be assigned or changed in the administrative backend by authorized persons from the software provider.

An AV contract regulates the group of people and the authorizations of the software provider for assigning role rights.

Where is the data stored?

The personal data is stored encrypted in a database. The database server is located in a large German data center, which is certified according to ISO27001 and meets the highest security standards. Backups of the encrypted database are stored on a server in Frankfurt. No data is stored on your local system.

INTERVENT ermöglicht ein DSGVO-konformes Arbeiten. Wir orientieren uns bei der Entwicklung an den Empfehlungen des BSI standards. Our company is controlled by external data protection officers (DPOs) and information security officers (ISBs). Internally, we already work according to the standards of ISO 27001 and live IT baseline protection. Experienced experts, who we can provide upon request, ensure safe operation within the facilities. All new and further developments implement the current state of the art.

Is Intervent user-friendly and barrier-free?

The modern user interface is easy to understand and largely eliminates possible incorrect entries. Pop-up boxes with help texts provide additional information in some places when touched with the mouse. The usability of the program has been tested for many years and is confirmed by users. During development, attention was paid to maximum accessibility.

Ist ein Wechsel zu INTERVENT möglich?

Grundsätzlich passen wir INTERVENT an die inhaltlichen Befürfnisse der Einrichtungen an. Liegen bereits existierende Daten in einem strukturierten Datenformat vor, können wir diese auf Datenbankebene den passenden INTERVENT-Datenfeldern zuordnen und nach Aufwand kalkuliert für Sie importieren.

Was sind sichere Passwörter?

Generieren Sie individuelle Passwörter immer mit einem Zufallsgenerator. Ein sicheres Passwort besteht aus mindestens 12-16 Stellen und enthält Groß-/Kleinbuchstaben, Ziffern und Sonderzeichen. Was kostet INTERVENT?

Der Betrieb einer cloudbasierten Software mit sensiblen Daten erfordert entsprechende Infrastruktur beim Anbieter. Die Kosten für Personal, Technik, Datenschutz, Support, Updates und Verwaltung werden anteilig auf alle Nutzer umgelegt und zu einem geringen Monatspreis pro Nutzer kalkuliert. Für die Ersteinrichtung von Landkreisnamen und Zugangsdaten wird eine einmalige Einrichtungsgebühr erhoben. Sonderwünsche, Erweiterungen oder Änderungen werden separat zum aktuellen Tagessatz kalkuiert.

Warum ist es sicherer, Fallakten in einer Cloud zu speichern?

Die eigene Infrastruktur hat i.d.R. ein deutlich niedrigeres Sicherheitsniveau als professionell gewartete Serverfarmen von Cloudsienstleistern. Besonders in Deutschland gelten strengste Datenschutzregeln. Hier sind unzählige Mitarbeitende in Vollzeit mit der Weiterentwicklung von Abwehrmechanismen und der Datenabsicherung beschäftigt. In einer Beratungsstelle wären Diebstähle ausgedruckter Fallakten aus unverschlossenen Ordnerregalen deutlich einfacher. und folgenreicher. Häufig gibt es in Beratungsstellen überhauptkeine Personalie für die interne Sicherheit.

Which Windows version is required?

INTERVENT arbeitet browserbasiert und ist unabhängig vom Betriebssystem und dessen Version. Aus Sicherheitsgründen wird natürlich immer ein aktuelles Betriebssystem und ein gut abgesicherter Browser empfohlen.

Is internet required?

Yes. However, a connection with average speed (e.g. DSL, LTE) is sufficient.

Can case files be transferred to other institutions?

The Violence Assistance Act (GewHG) Provides for the possibility that case files and information from persons affected by violence can be transferred between institutions in order to ensure continuous care.

In the future, ownership of case files can be transferred from one institution to another institution of the same type within a federal state.

Für die Übertragung in INTERVENT-Versionen anderer Bundesländer ist ein Export strukturierter Daten geplant. Dabei müssen individuelle Anforderungen der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO) and des Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the database structure of the target institution must be taken into account.

If personal data is to be transferred, the verifiable consent of the person concerned must be obtained beforehand.

The structured data can then be encrypted and transmitted to other facilities via a secure transmission path.

Are individual statistics possible?

Die Auswahl der auszugebenden Statistiktabellen ist für jede Rolle nach Vorgaben der Auftraggeberin fest in INTERVENT integriert. Der Umfang der ausgegebenen anonymen Daten unterscheidet sich je nach Rolle, so dass jeder Rolle nur die tatsächlich benötigten Daten übermittelt werden. Rollen können den Inhalt Ihrer Statistiken nicht selbst festlegen oder verändern. Es besteht für Beratungszugänge die Möglichkeit, individuelle Fallsummen durch die Kombination von Filtern zu erhalten.

How and where are statistics generated?

Statistics are generated in the front end of the client computer. For this purpose, only anonymous data without personal information is transmitted from the server via an SSL-encrypted connection to the front end and decrypted there with the cross-role key. The scope of data differs per role and is limited to the absolute minimum for coordination offices.

Which virus protection software is recommended?

Choosing appropriate antivirus protection depends on specific needs and preferences. If necessary, the carrier specifies protection software.

AI research (as of May 2025) makes the following recommendations:

  • For comprehensive protection: G DATA Internet Security or Bitdefender Internet Security are excellent choices.

  • For additional features: Avira Prime and McAfee Total Protection In addition to basic protection, they offer useful extras.

  • For free basic protection: Bitdefender Antivirus Free is one of the best free options.
